Frequently Asked Questions

Before you call, here's what most clients ask

If your question isn't covered here, our team is a phone call away - day or night.

It depends on the fault. Straightforward mechanical and hydraulic work is often done on board or afloat. Anything needing precision machining - shafts, wear rings, bores - is rigged, removed and taken to our Kirulapona workshop, then returned and refitted.

Medium and heavy-duty industrial and marine machinery - fire and bilge pumps, deck cranes, steering gear, hydraulic rams and valves, pneumatic control systems, underwater hull & sea chest welding, boilers, and associated steel and pipework.

Yes. Every job is recorded as a numbered work order describing the scope carried out and any items supplied, in a format you can pass directly to owners, surveyors or class.

Both. Where a part is beyond economical repair - a shaft, coupling or wear ring, for example - we machine and supply a replacement in-house as part of the same work order.

Our workshop is based in Kirulapona, Colombo 05, and this is where most of our fabrication and machining work is carried out. For on-board and site callouts, get in touch with your location and we'll confirm coverage and response time.

Call our 24-hour line, WhatsApp us, or use the contact form with a description of the fault, vessel or plant, and location. We'll come back with next steps or mobilise directly for urgent cases.
